• Over 7,000 schools have been damaged or destroyed. (UN OCHA, 2024)
• Nearly 2.4 million children in Syria are out of school. (UNICEF, 2024)
• Thousands of classrooms still lack basic furniture like desks and chairs.
• In some schools, 3 to 4 students must share a single broken bench.
• Many children are forced to sit on the floor — making learning difficult and uncomfortable.

The cost of school equipment has skyrocketed, making it almost impossible for families or local communities to provide the basics.

We believe that every child has the right to a safe, dignified place to learn. That’s why we are launching a nationwide campaign to equip classrooms across Syria with strong, comfortable, student-friendly desks.
